Loved this place. Would 1000% recommend. Staff was super nice, I had a Philly cheesesteak it was really good! My son had a cheeseburger and said it was really good.
Great place to eat. They have really good food. Love the Philly steak sandwich. Desserts are wonderful. My children look forward to eating there. The staff has always been friendly.
When I entered there were few people there, which was surprising given the time it was. I'd think it would be busy at 6pm! But, maybe the dinner rush is earlier around here? Or maybe it was just the day? Either way, I think this restaurant should be busier!! Service was great! I ordered take out and they were happy to assist with it. Staff was friendly. Food was delicious! I ordered a cheeseburger and forgot to ask for ketchup (ketchup is on the tables for dine-in, but I ordered takeout). Now,I am a believer that ketchup is a must on a burger, but HWY 55 Burgers,Shakes &Fries changed my mind. I really didn't notice that the ketchup was missing, because the burger was not dry, nor was the bun. Also the burger had lots of good flavor to it! To top it off, the burger was solid meat, not like some places that make it half fat, which drips grease all over you. I also ordered fried pickles. Those were average, but I'd order again, as pickles are way better than potatoes, even if they are mediocre. I wanted to try some frozen custard next, so maybe I'll return tomorrow before I leave town. Otherwise, I'll try it the next time I'm in the area, which will be soon!
Food is great albeit a little pricey for the portion sizes. However the colorful retro atmosphere makes up for it!! Service is always friendly and fast. Perfect place for a classy-casual date or fun outing with the kids. :) Restrooms are super cute and clean. I recommend the pimento cheeseburger, Philly cheesesteak, and all the milkshakes. Yum yum!
We were traveling and looked up places to eat. We saw this place and had to go there. What a fun place! The food was very good. Service was good and the staff was very nice. I had a cheeseburger off the a la carte menu. My husband had the cheesesteak and said it was amazing. You definitely need to stop here.
Stopped in for a couple of burgers while passing through Helena on Sunday. We ordered the pimento burger and it was fantastic! Then we topped it off with some Carmel apple frozen custard and it was just as good. Loved the retro atmosphere and the great service. Very kid friendly as well.
Just left after a great lunch. Friendly staff who was attentive to the needs of everyone in the place. And this particular staff of young people, 4 young ladies, were the best workers I have ever seen. Even with every customer need fulfilled they did not just stand around. They made sure that anyone who came after them would find things stocked, clean and in place to provide outstanding service. Thanks for restoring my faith in the rising generations of young people.
